This weekend is my first anniversary and my wife and I headed to Nashville. Special occasions mean lots of special times to absolutely destroy the work I have done so far. Today we went to one of my favorite places to eat in Nashville, Calypso Cafe. This is a Cuban type restaurant that serves rotisserie chicken. If you can get the 1/4 or 1/2 chicken skinless, all white, then it isn’t terrible for you (~400 calories just for the 1/2 chicken), but pick the sides wisely. Black beans, long grain rice, fruit, or the sweet potatoes would be decent choices. My dinner was probably around 850 calories.
