<p>Today was the official day for our anniversary. 365.25 days ago I got married and I have loved each and everyone of those days/hours/minutes/seconds. It has been great and I have a wonderfully supportive wife, especially when it comes to trying to lose weight. I couldn&#8217;t ask for a better one.</p>
<p>Today was actually a relief since it marked a move back to normalcy. I hoped today would be under 2000 calories and tomorrow would be the same as well since I will &#8220;weigh in&#8221; on Tuesday morning. This weekend felt like I was just terrible all weekend, but it was really just a single meal that was so bad. The funny thing about that is that only a month ago, I would have eaten like that 3 (or maybe 4) meals a day. Well not like that exactly, because I would have to be rich, but like that caloricly (&lt;&#8211; is that a word?).</p>

<p>Today was the worst day so far for me caloricly, but I knew that would happen. It was our anniversary dinner at <a href="http://www.meltingpot.com/">The Melting Pot</a> that would do me in, but some times you just have to let loose. One thing to focus on was not to go nuts all day, but to go nuts on that one meal for this special occasion. </p>
<p>For breakfast (late&#8230;around 11:30)  we went to <a href="http://www.ihop.com/index.php?option=com_content&#038;task=view&#038;id=31">Ihop</a> and tried something from their &#8220;lighter fare&#8221; menu. We both partook in the Harvest Grain N&#8217; Nut Healthy Combo (~571 calories). I also added 2 pieces of turkey sausage (~120 calories) because, uh, meat is good and that thing didn&#8217;t have any. We both thought the HGNNHC was pretty good, we would recommend it. </p>
<p>The rest of the day we really weren&#8217;t all that hungry. Jennie had some dry cereal and I had some baked potato chips. By the time dinner rolled around we were ready.</p>
<p>For dinner we went all out and got the &#8220;Big Night Out&#8221; four course fondue dinner for two. This included a cheese fondue appetizer, salad, entree and chocolate fondue desert. I will let you head over to their website to see what all of that entails, but again this was another restaurant without nutrition information. The only thing I had to go with was someone&#8217;s estimate from <a href="http://www.thedailyplate.com/nutrition-calories/food/the-melting-pot/dinner-for-2-7E-fondue-feast">The Daily Plate</a>, and that is what I went with. I tried to think about it, and I bet the estimate for one person (~2000 calories) is pretty close to correct. </p>

<p>This weekend is my first anniversary and my wife and I headed to Nashville. Special occasions mean lots of special times to absolutely destroy the work I have done so far. Today we went to one of my favorite places to eat in Nashville, <a href="http://www.calypsocafe.com/home.htm">Calypso Cafe</a>. This is a Cuban type restaurant that serves rotisserie chicken.  If you can get the 1/4 or 1/2 chicken skinless, all white, then it isn&#8217;t terrible for you (~400 calories just for the 1/2 chicken), but pick the sides wisely. Black beans, long grain rice, fruit, or the sweet potatoes would be decent choices. My dinner was probably around 850 calories. </p>
